Monte Estoril is a consistent reef break that can be surfed from as small as 3 feet all the way to 10 feet or more. It can be seen from the Marginal road between Monte Estoril and Cascais as well as from the train in both directions but, despite that fact, it will be uncrowded more often then not. Not as popular as many other reef spots in Linha do Estoril, it's still a pretty good option to surf if you're looking for some fun and not very heavy right-handers.
The rocks on the inside can be a bit tricky, but on most days it's not a factor since the wave breaks further out as the swell gets bigger. Works best on swells from Northwest direction.
