The MEO Rip Curl Pro Portugal, the penultimate stop on the 2019 World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT), will be OFF on its opening day due to medium-sized, wind affected waves on offer at Supertubos. The next call will be at 9 a.m Thursday.

“The wind is onshore and waves are still small this morning,” Jessi Miley-Dyer, VP Tours and Competition said. “It’s looking like it’s going to be good early in the waiting period so we’re hoping for a start tomorrow and Friday looks really good.”
